Comparison to Kabbalah’s Tree of Life

Many people have noticed, correctly, that THEE's Tree has a very similar form to the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life.

There is a difference: the mystics identified various phenomena not currently found in THEE; and THEE has definitely identified various phenomena and structures not identified by the mystics.

It follows that a THEE Tree should not be referred to as a «Tree-of-Life homologue». It is likely that the Kabbalistic «Tree-of-Life» may eventually be identified as a specific taxonomic (mental) function.

Kabbalah’s Tree of Life

• The exact pattern of Channels varies according to different sources.
• The Tree of Life exists in 4 Worlds: this has no counterpart (to date) in THEE Trees.
• The Tree of Life is a mystical symbol and includes an emptiness above it where varieties of nothingness and light exist.
• The Tree of Life refers to Daath as a non-sephiroth (Centre) that represents Knowledge. Although the notion that THEE cannot be learned (as knowledge) is concordant with this concept, no counterpart has been noted in THEE Trees.
• The Tree of Life glyph has been used or discovered by various other esoteric traditions including Astrology, the Tarot, the Hindu Chakras and so on.
• The Tree of Life is accepted as a tradition-based gift and cannot be altered in any way. However, arguments can occur as to whose interpretations are right and what the Tree signifies, especially in regard to holy texts.

THEE Trees

• The process of discovery and delineation of a THEE Tree draws on evidence, logic, and social validation, most significantly by implementation of applications.
• Trees are just one form among several within THEE.
• The pattern of emanation of the entire THEE structure from one cell (Will) has many structural and architectural complexities that seem to be without any counterpart in the Kabbalah.
• Specifications and formulations within THEE Trees are socially shareable products that are open to modification and improvement in a variety of ways.
• THEE Trees are oriented to living and working, where spirituality is just one of several important dimensions of healthy functioning.
• THEE Trees have properties that are not relevant to or have not been described in the Tree of Life (to my limited knowledge) including:

• existence in static form as a holistic Hierarchy
• generation of Structural Hierarchies
• production of an Internal Duality
• nested identity-defining Typologies
• emergence from re-ordered Typologies
• generation of Q- hierarchies via Typology expansion

Similarities

Having spelled out the differences, we can note some formal similarities.

• THEE Trees have the same Centres (excluding the non-Centre Daath) and Channels as shown in one of the standard Kabbalah forms.
• The abyss in the Tree of Life between L7-L6 and L5-L1 corresponds to the gulf between the potential and the actual in THEE Trees.
• The dominant pole at L6 and L5 switches sides at L3 in both cases.

The Tree structure, as methodically uncovered during THEE inquiries, operates unconsciously in all of us, all of the time, to serve our purposes. The mystics have probably represented a special case of this phenomenon.

The mystics sought to structure a concept of deity, to develop human spirituality, and to produce a creation story for our universe. The universe that concerned them most was psychosocial reality. Inevitably, they used the structure that structures us to structure what they focused upon. As human beings, they had no alternative.
