The Typology & Root Levels

Meta-THEE Observations

The Root Hierarchy was only discovered at the end of 1990's, and its hierarchy not provisionally finalized until 2007 under the pressure of a public presentation. The Root Hierarchy was further developed in 2008 in association with inquiries into creativity from a practical perspective. This provided structural corroboration for the validity of the Root Levels. To avoid mystery, the preliminary findings have been posted in TOP.

In 2009, an unexpected finding occurred in relation to the framework for political activity [PH'6CsH]. I could not help noticing that each grouping in the structural hierarchy had a specific relation to one of the Root Levels (or one of the Primary Hierarchies). More:Closed Initial inquiries, not yet posted, suggest that a standard correspondence probably exists for all structural hierarchies. This correspondence currently lacks any formal or explanatory underpinning, and remains a matter of empirical observation.

Probably due to being sensitized, I found myself noticing something similar for this Principal Typology as I put it into postable form. This may perhaps be unsurprising to natural sceptics who must think I see patterns everywhere. Nevertheless it seemed amazing to me: because no deep analysis was required at all—the correspondence just jumps out when you look for it. See and judge for yourself.

Are the observations on decision-making made 30 years ago, and repeatedly confirmed, being distorted? If so they are being distorted long after the fact. The Root Hierarchy was developed in the last few years when decision-making issues were utterly peripheral to my concerns.

Correspondences Jump Out

ClosedL'1: Rationalist

The focus here is on values and goals,
so the obvious relationship would seem to be to Purpose-RL6.

ClosedL'2: Empiricist

ClosedL'3: Pragmatic

ClosedL'4: Dialectic

ClosedL'5: Systemicist

ClosedL'6: Structuralist

ClosedL'7: Imaginist

If we put these correspondences together, Closedit looks like this ►:

Correspondences between Root Levels and the Decision approaches/mentalities.

My reaction is:Closed Curious!
