Comparing Related Frameworks

 

This section includes Frameworks that follow a standard taxonomic flow and bear superficial resemblances.

The starting point here is the use of language-PH'5 as explained in the THEE Path.

The derivation begins with formulating methods of managing (a Q-Typology), goes through strengthening managing in the face of complexity in discrete Stages (a Q-Spiral), and on to the hierarchical management structures in organizations (a Q-Hierarchy)—which are the «levels of work» to be considered in this section. (There are other Q-structures as explained in the Guide.)

As names for these related frameworks are rather similar: a tabular summary is provided below.

Similarity of names may be misleading. The main horizontal correspondence in this Matrix is in relation to the green use of language columns. While stages in strengthening organization does correspondto hierarchical structuring, any method of managing work can be used by any role at any level of management.
