The Story So Far

The initial section of an account of societal institutions-Q4 is now complete. It has covered:

• ways to affect an institution (PH'5Q4t)
• how to intensify pressure for institutional evolution (PH'5Q4C)
• dynamics of consent to the current state of the institution (PH'5Q4CHK)

My limited studies combined with the relatively poor development of institutions and the current predilection for authoritarianism makes observation and analysis difficult. When political maturation (PH6C) in several societies has reached at least the Transcendentalist Stage-6 or preferably Communalist Stage-7, it is likely that the picture will be clearer.

The final section of this investigation into institutional evolution and public consent requires:

•  understanding how evolution is guided by people, which appears to be revealed in the structural hierarchy (PH'5Q4sH), and
• seeing how we can get engaged with that evolution in a constructive way, which appears to be revealed by the structural Tree (PH'5Q4sHK).
