Naming the Action-PH1 Fundamentals

Background

Decision methods were discovered at a very early stage before the notion of a Principal Typology (PH'1) existed. In association with investigation of the Inquiry-PH2 frameworks and clarification of the Purpose Hierarchy-PH6, a Primary Hierarchy-PH1 was postulated.

Its contents were reviewed and verbs provided in association with the investigation of the Root Projection. Here is the current provisional formulation:

These Trees have been provisionally developed as shown here, but are not yet posted or published with explanations.

PH1K

Given the dynamic duality is personal/situational v formal/standardized, This Tree was investigated and formulated from the Primary Hierarchy previously, but left without a name.

The lower four levels appear to focus on the immediate control of activities via muscular movement, procedures, methods and suitable responses.

The upper three levels ensure that these controls enable coherent pursuit of a particular course of action. This is based on understanding the intervention (L5), taking responsibility for choice (L6), and allowing for spontaneity (L7). Taken together, these seem to leave no doubt that the activity is deliberate, personal and meaningful.

This suggests that Requirements for a «Deliberate Activity» could be a reasonable name, one that captures its function. (Of course, in practice, an activity may be inadvertent or not be sufficiently deliberate—but that is precisely what the Tree can help determine.)

PsH1K

The Structural Hierarchy-PsH1 is named Producing Results, and contains 28 components used naturally in regard to the mechanics of any endeavour. As usual, all of PH1K occurs in every Grouping.

The Structural Hierarchy Tree (PsH1K), which is not yet published or posted, reveals that:

the Centres and Channels in the G1-G4 Content section model the concrete pursuit of a course of action.
the Centres and Channels in the G5-G7 Context section provide the personal drivers that determine the energy and potential for obtaining desired results.

This suggests that Requirements for a «Credible Course» could be a reasonable name, i.e. one that captures its function. Just as in PsH2K, not all research is scientific, so not every course of action is credible and this Tree helps clarify why.

Combination

Considering these two Trees together, it seems that a Credible Course (PsH1K) depends on numerous Deliberate Activities (PH1K), and the desire is to Produce Results (PsH1).
