Focus for Rendering Assistance

In rendering assistance, the focus is on serving the individual or group, and serving is about selflessness in being responsive and helpful in relation to needs.

Both responsiveness and helpfulness depend on willingness: the exact details are as follows.

Summary of Functions

The Groupings and their Groups are ways to differentiate the use of energies and positivity defined by the hierarchical stratification of willingness.

The full picture can be seen in the review section. Here is a summary of what will be analysed and explained in the Topics to follow:

 G1:

Hope arrives via the 7 vehicles of faith that a person activates when choosing willingly to render assistance.

The vehicles are specified by 7 Monads (1 Level per Group) that divide serving into its elements.

Hope is the basis for imagining that assistance will be forthcoming. However, a concern emerges about whether anything substantial and persistent will eventuate ... which forces a move to G2.

G2:

Reassurance is communicated by one or more of the 6 promises of continuity in relation to rendering assistance.

These promises are specified by 6 Dyads (2 adjacent Levels per Group) which generate an unequivocal drive to assist with a basic confidence.

Reassurance is the basis for developing assistance in the situation. However, a concern emerges about whether the intentions intrinsic to assisting will be maintained ... which forces a move to G3.

G3:

Intentions are maintained via 5 means of proceeding when rendering assistance.

These means are specified by 5 Triads (3 adjacent Levels per Group) which make assistance explicit.

Intentions are the basis for establishing the nature of the assistance. However, a concern emerges about whether balance will be retained in the face of stresses that buffet efforts... which forces a move to G4

G4:

Balance is retained by the 4 preservers of relationship

These preservers are specified by 4 Tetrads (4 adjacent Levels per Group) which provide for reliability.

Balance is the basis for preserving assistance in the social situation. However, a concern emerges about whether the helper's capability will be sufficient ... which forces a move to G5.

G5:

Capability is activated by 3 sources of support

These sources are specified by 3 Pentads (5 adjacent Levels per Group) which demand thoughtfulness.

Capability is the basis for directing assistance as the situation itself evolves. However, a concern emerges about the ideals embedded in the assistance ... which forces a move to G6.

G6:

Ideals are manifested via 2 bases of proficiency

These bases are specified by 2 Hexads (6 adjacent Levels per Group) which emphasizes an underpinning intelligent use of

Ideals are the basis for valuing assistance in the situation. However, a concern emerges about the energies that will be released ... which forces a move to G7.

G7:

Energies are released via a state of responsiveness.

This singular state is specified by the 1 Heptad (7 adjacent Levels in the single Group) which integrates all elements.

Energy is the basis for powering assistance. However, a concern emerges about the state of the recipient... which can force a move to G1.

Schema for Exposition of Groupings????

In describing each of the Groupings, I will initially explain why it exists in terms of what comes before, and propose formal names for the Grouping and its Groups. Then I will identify:

Function: The unique purpose of the Grouping and also how each of the Groups exists to support this.

Quality: The qualifier that characterizes how the function is to be performed and how it emerges from the highest monad in the Grouping.

Integration within: How the Levels within each Group in the Grouping are bound together. This will not apply to G1.

Integration across: How all Groups in the Grouping together ensure coverage of the concern. This will not apply to G7.

Dysfunction: The way that personal functioning in the Grouping fails to deliver on its potential.

Destructiveness: The way that a person deliberately prevents the operation of the Grouping.

In G2 to G6, there is a more detailed Topic, where the internal structure of each Group is formulated.
