Responsiveness in Serving

Energies

Will represents human energy, but it is rather difficult to say exactly what these psychosocial energies are. They are not the same as physical energy although if our physical energy is depleted, then it becomes much harder to muster energy for psychosocial functioning (syn. personal energy, psychic energy).

The current conjecture is that the will's energies are delivered and manifested via willingness-RL7. Without some minimum of willingness it is difficult to do anything at all. That difficulty is expressed in a myriad of ways: weakness, tiredness, exhaustion, passivity, loss of interest, apathy. In all cases, the urge and ability to follow a plan or take necessary action recedes dramatically.

It can be presumed that when all 7 levels of willingness are simultaneously activated then there will be the maximum release of energies. This energy permits one person to serve another who is in need.

In a structural hierarchy, combining all 7 levels of the originating hierarchy forms the heptad-G7 named «serve » as shown in the diagram at right.

Service

When the energies of all willingness levels are simultaneously released, then you are giving yourself as completely as humanly possible to helping in the situation. That state can be named: «service».

Serving does not refer here to specific activities or particular endeavours, only to the willingness to be involved. When people sign up for «military service», this implies an expectation that they will do whatever may be asked, no matter how difficult or dangerous.

If someone offers to "be of service", they are putting themselves at your disposal (within a particular setting of course) without wanting to limit the requests that you might make, or indicate a particular preference or initiative

When we talk of providing «service that is more than money can buy», the reference is to the a preparedness to inject something indefinable, a genuine emotionally activated willingness that is so often missing in purely transactional arrangements.

It appears that when a person releases energies, they enter a state of responsiveness in relation to what the person or situation requires.

The best general term for what that response is about appears to be «helping» So serving can be described as «unselfish». It is no surprise that helpfulness is a contributor to goodness in social lie.

Helpfulness-R"G1⁴ emerges from caring about others-R"L4) and is a vehicle of spiritual energy that requires combinations with other vehicles to function fully.

The function of releasing energies to become responsive is to give oneself completely to helping in the situation.

Hope

The quality of service that can be delivered will be determined by the functioning of the constituent elements: the G1-Monads.

Details of this functioning will be clarified towards the end of this section because the story is somewhat complicated.

In general terms, responsiveness will be affected by the hope that help can indeed be provided. Correspondingly, the more that it seems that nothing will make any difference, the less can hope be activated.

Service using released energies is the ultimate enabler of rendering assistance. To appreciate what is involved in realizing that ideal, it is necessary to examine the energy vehicles that need to be combined progressively to render assistance.
