Take Responsibility

Once balance-G4 is assured, a way forward that produces desired outcomes must be found.

That entails taking responsibility, where the most important requirement is to generate outcomes. This can be enabled by combining an additional level to form 3 pentads.

Each pentad has a new qualifier that emerges from risking-L5. This is provisionally proposed as «thoughtful» in the sense of becoming fully aware that the outcome is uncertain and there may be dangers in any pursuit.

This means that each pentad that preserves relationships must have g1-confident , g2-unequivocal, g3-explicit, g4-reliabe and g5 thoughtful components. The labeling is as follows:

  • Contribute (G51)
  • Explore (G52)
  • Lead (G53)

The function of the tetrads is proposed as: To remain connected in the situation without losing perspective or integrity.

Destructiveness at G4 shows up as manipulation of the relationship.

Oscillating Pattern

The tetrads confirmed the presence of an oscillating pattern between personal assertion directed outwards and social confirmation

G2-promises of continuity are directed inwards to oneself but depend on social confirmation in regard to experiencing reasssurance.

G3-means of proceeding are a matter of personal assertion directed outwards to maintain intentions.

G4-preservers of relationships are directed inwards to oneself but dependent on social confirmation so that balance can be retained.

It therefore might be expected that:

G5-generators of outcomes will be a matter of personal assertion directed outwards to take responsibility, and this appears to be the case. Contributing, exploring and leading all fit that description, and so oscillation is a definite characteristic of this framework.
